Niels Nielsen

Niels is a London based businessman and entrepreneur with extensive experience across financial services, real estate, fin-tech and private investments in early stage companies. Niels is the co-founder and CEO of Zedra, a world leading global trust, corporate and fund administration company that he bought out of Barclays at the beginning of 2016. Since then, Zedra has doubled in size and is today present in fourteen counties and employs 500 people.

Niels graduated from Brown, and then followed that with an MBA from Yale before starting his career in Investment Banking. A Danish citizen, he has also been instrumental, as a board member and one of the lead investors, in guiding Vestra Wealth LLP, a UK wealth management company, before selling it to LGT (now branded LGT Vestra LLP). Niels was also a board member and through his family office one of the founders of Kinetic Partners LLP that became the world’s leading independent compliance and forensic investigation company with offices in 10 countries before it was sold to Duff and Phelps at the beginning of 2015.
