Thomas Benjamin

President, CQC North America at Cambridge Quantum Computing

Thomas Benjamin has over three decades of experience in the private sector, government, and military. Thomas began their career in 1980 as an Attorney and Judge Advocate for the US Army. In 1985, they joined the Central Intelligence Agency as an Attorney and Executive. In 2001, they co-founded In-Q-Tel Interface Center (QIC) as the Director. From 2005 to 2021, they held various roles, including Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of ANSER, Analytic Services Inc., Senior Vice President, Corporate Counsel and Acting Chief Operating Officer of Analytic Services Inc., Advisory Board Member of ORock Technologies, Inc., and Advisory Board Member of Sigma Science Inc. In 2019, they became President of Cambridge Quantum Computing, North America, and in 2021, they became an Executive at Quantinuum.

Thomas Benjamin received a BA in Government and International Relations from the University of Notre Dame in 1977. Thomas then attended the University of Illinois College of Law, where they graduated with a JD in 1980. In 2006, Thomas Benjamin completed an MBA from the University of Virginia - Darden School of Business.
