Herbert brings over 20 years of professional experience and thought leadership in transit service and operations planning, market analysis, capital projects, asset management, fare management, and technology innovation.

He has led a wide variety of transformational market and service performance projects for large and small agencies across the country, as well as the Federal, State, and regional agencies that support them. He writes and speaks on a variety of topics related to the changing mobility landscape and strengthening operational practices. In addition, he works frequently with transit executives and boards on topics related to organizational governance, change management, and new mobility solutions.

He loves his family, writing, creative play, breakfast sandwiches, making things better, and anything to do with his hometown of Pittsburgh.
