Sha'Von Terrell, MCRP, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in urban planning and transportation analysis. Currently serving as a Transportation Analyst at Cambridge Systematics, Inc., Sha'Von previously held roles including City Planner for the City of Mcdonough and Regional Outreach Specialist for the Federation of Southern Cooperatives. As an adjunct professor at Towson University, Sha'Von focused on urban food systems, employing experiential learning to address issues of accessibility and equity. Notable achievements include serving as Deputy Director for the Black Church Food Security Network, where Sha'Von successfully connected food producers to community markets and secured over $600,000 in funding. Additionally, experience as a Junior Transportation Planner at the Maryland Transit Administration involved conducting public outreach and analyzing food access in urban food deserts. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in City/Urban, Community, and Regional Planning from Morgan State University and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Tuskegee University.
