David Lynch

David Lynch, CFA has over 20 years of experience in investment management and leadership roles. David is currently serving as the Chief Investment Officer at Cambridge Trust Company, where they lead a team of 23 professionals specializing in global asset allocation, security/manager selection, and portfolio construction for clients with over $4 billion in assets.

Prior to their current role, David was a Managing Partner and Deputy Chief Investment Officer at Athena Capital Advisors. During their tenure, they played a key role in the firm's growth from 6 employees to over 50 and from $1 billion to $6 billion in assets. David also led the Executive Committee meetings of the Managing Partners and made significant contributions to the investment research process and manager selection efforts.

Before joining Athena Capital Advisors, David worked at Colorado PERA as an Emerging Markets Portfolio Manager. David successfully managed an internally managed emerging market fixed income portfolio and gained expertise in various industry sectors for high yield and investment grade debt, as well as mortgage-backed securities.

David started their career as a Research Associate in Global Fixed Income at Eaton Vance and briefly worked as an Economist at Cahners Economics.
