Joe Dacey

Joe Dacey has over 19 years of work experience in the IT industry. Joe currently serves as the First Vice President / Director of IT at Cambridge Trust Company, where they are responsible for technology and cybersecurity. Joe is a decisive leader and a skilled team builder. Prior to this, they worked at Hill Holliday as the SVP / VP - Information Technology, overseeing various aspects of IT including technology strategy, enterprise applications, and compliance. Joe also held roles as the VP, Director of Infrastructure and Operations, and Director of IT Infrastructure at Hill Holliday. Joe has experience as a Senior Security Consultant at Akibia, Inc, where they focused on checkpoint, RSA, extreme, Aruba, and Infoblox technologies. Joe began their career as a Sr Network / Systems Engineer at Aegis Associates and later served as the Technical Services Manager at Adventis, leading tech support functions.

Joe Dacey holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Systems Engineering from Boston University. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications including the (ISC)2 Security CISSP (ISC2-CISSP) from (ISC)² in May 2019, MCSE from Microsoft in July 2003, and is also recognized as a Check Point Security Expert (CCSE) by Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd. Joe has further certification as a Cisco Unity Support Specialist (CQS) from Cisco.
