Sep Salimi

Sep Salimi has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Sep started their career as a Bank Supervisor at TD in 2010 and later worked as an Office Manager at Santander Bank. In 2014, they joined Commerce Bank as a Credit Analyst in the Commercial Lending department.

In 2015, Salimi joined Cambridge Trust Company, where they held various roles. Sep started as a Financial Analyst and later became a Senior Financial Analyst. In 2020, they were promoted to the position of AVP, Portfolio Manager, where they managed a $500 million middle-market C&I portfolio. In 2022, they transitioned to the role of AVP, Senior Portfolio Manager, overseeing a $200 million portfolio of high-growth tech-enabled companies.

Currently, Salimi serves as the Vice President of Technology/Venture Banking at Cambridge Trust Company. In this role, they work closely with VC & PE firms and their portfolio companies, providing strategic finance support and evaluating growth strategies. Sep also engages with management teams and investors, building strong relationships and assessing risk for loan transactions.

Sep Salimi's education history is as follows:

From 2007 to 2011, Sep Salimi attended Anna Maria College, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

In 2012, Sep Salimi pursued further education at Anna Maria College and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance.

In 2015, Sep Salimi obtained a Certificate in Commercial Lending and Credit Risk from Credit Training, Inc.

From 2016 to 2019, Sep Salimi attended Boston University and received a Certificate in Real Estate Finance with a specialization in Commercial Real Estate.

In 2020 and 2021, Sep Salimi furthered their education at the NE School for Financial Studies, where they completed an Executive Program in Banking.

Currently, Sep Salimi is pursuing a Master's degree in Finance with a focus on Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies at the Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, starting in 2022.
