Akbar Irampaye

Akbar Irampaye is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in physiology and healthcare. Currently serving as a Respiratory Physiologist at St John & St Elizabeth Hospital since October 2023, Akbar also holds the position of Microvascular Physiologist at Finchley Memorial Hospital since March 2022 and works as an Academy Scout for Cambridge United Football Club. Prior experience includes roles as a Respiratory/Microvascular Physiologist and Associate Respiratory Practitioner at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, along with serving as a Civil Servant in the Department of Work and Pension from March 2021 to February 2022. Akbar began a career in healthcare as a Healthcare Assistant at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in early 2020. Academically, Akbar obtained a Master’s degree in Physiology from King’s College London and a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Exercise Science from the University of Kent.
