Ben Strang

Ben Strang has extensive experience in football operations, currently serving as the Sporting Director at Cambridge United Football Club since October 2016. In this role, Ben manages the football operation at an executive level, liaising with the Club's board and overseeing department heads across the First Team and Academy. Prior to this, Ben held positions such as Head of Football at Cambridge United and Head of Academy Recruitment at Norwich City FC, focusing on recruitment and development. Ben's earlier roles include Chief Scout and Academy Coach at Cambridge United, as well as scouting for various clubs, including Ipswich Town FC and through The Scouting Network. Ben holds a Master of Science in Sports Directorship from The University of Salford and has a background in coaching and education from The David Beckham Academy.
