Catie Sheret

Catie Sheret is the current General Counsel at Cambridge University Press. Sheret has a wealth of experience in the legal field, having worked as Chief Privacy Officer at Pearson from August 1999 to April 2018, and as a solicitor at both Charles Russell LLP and Linklaters from May 1998 to September 1999 and March 1994 to May 1998 respectively. Prior to that, Sheret worked as a stagiere at the European Commission from October 1993 to March 1994.

Catie Sheret has a Bachelor of Laws from the London School of Economics and Political Science, a Post-graduate Diploma from FT/Pearson, and certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals in Certified Information Privacy Manager, CIPP-E, and CIPT - Certified Information Privacy Technologist.
