Darendra Appanah

Darendra Appanah is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in various roles within the technology sector. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at Cambridge Consultants since March 2018, Darendra has also taken on the role of AI SIG Champion at Cambridge Wireless Ltd since September 2023. Previous positions include Software Test Engineer and Graduate Software Test Automation Engineer at Amino Communications from September 2016 to March 2018, and Broadcast Engineer Undergraduate Trainee at Eddystone Broadcast LTD from July 2014 to June 2015. Darendra's educational background includes a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Loughborough University, alongside a Foundation degree in Science and Engineering Foundation Studies and A levels in several subjects. Additionally, Darendra has experience in customer service as a Sales Assistant at John Lewis from October 2007 to September 2009.
