Laura Halstead

Laura Halstead has a diverse and extensive work experience in communications and marketing. Laura most recently worked as the Assistant Director of Communications & Engagement at the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Integrated Care System (ICS) starting in 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Head of Communications and Marketing at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough CCG from 2019 to 2022.

In 2018, Laura served as the Head of Communications & Information at the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority. Before that, they worked as the Head of Communications & Connectivity at the Greater Cambridge Greater Peterborough Enterprise Partnership (LEP) from 2011 to 2018. In this role, they achieved notable successes such as developing a successful social media campaign, advocating for rail improvements, and organizing a highly attended innovation event.

Earlier in their career, Laura worked as a Director at propono PR, a full-service communications consultancy, from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they worked as an Information Officer at the Government News Network from 2003 to 2005, where they developed and implemented regional communications strategies.

Laura Halstead completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Psychosocial Studies from the University of East Anglia, graduating in 2001. In 2011, they also obtained an Introductory Certificate in Project Management from the Association for Project Management.
