Michael Nusbaum

Michael Nusbaum is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in language instruction and curriculum development. Currently serving as a Mandarin Chinese Teacher at Camden City School District since February 2021, Michael collaborates with high school educators to design an effective Chinese curriculum. Previous roles include Chinese Teacher and ESL Provider at Mott Hall Charter School, ELL Director at Fuzhou Lakeside International School, and Academic Director at Qunxian International School of Xiamen University. As a writer for The Straits Publishing and Distributing, Michael authored multiple IELTS handbooks and provided insights on reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. Michael holds a Master’s Degree in Chinese Pedagogy from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from Rutgers University - Camden.
