Associate Director For Harm Reduction Programs at Camden Coalition

Laura Sorensen, MSW, is an accomplished social worker with extensive experience in harm reduction and behavioral health programs. Currently serving as the Associate Director for Harm Reduction Programs at Camden Coalition since December 2022, Laura has previously held roles such as Senior Program Manager for Substance Use at the same organization and Director at Resources for Human Development from December 2014 to December 2022. Earlier positions include LGBT Medical Case Manager at Mazzoni Center, Senior Case Manager at Dignity Housing, and Volunteer Director at Friends for the Dearborn Animal Shelter. Laura also coordinated logistics for a world summit as Speaker Liaison and contributed to residential treatment as a Treatment Specialist at Wolverine Human Services.
