Sarah Fichou is an experienced R&D Physicist and Work Package Manager with a strong background in ion beam systems and mass spectrometry. Currently at CAMECA since February 2020, Sarah leads the optical design and management of the Primary beam optical column for a Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometer, overseeing technical specifications and subcontractor interactions. Prior experience includes serving as a Cyclotron Physicist at PMB-ALCEN, where responsibilities encompassed beam line management, system commissioning, and coordination with various engineering departments. Previously, at THALES COMMUNICATIONS & SECURITY SA, Sarah specialized in ion injector physics for military-grade spectrometers focusing on chemical warfare agent identification. Sarah earned a PhD in Physics from Pierre and Marie Curie University between 2010 and 2014.
