Fonkou Steve

Fonkou Steve is a dedicated healthcare professional specializing in transfusion medicine with significant experience in clinical and organizational roles. Currently serving as a Member of the Clinical Transfusion Working Party at the International Society of Blood Transfusion, Fonkou engages in global projects aimed at improving transfusion standards. As a Sickle Cell Clinic Coordinator at Cameroon Baptist Convention Health Services, Fonkou leads initiatives that support over 200 sickle cell patients while achieving a 30% monthly growth in clinic performance. Additionally, Fonkou has a strong focus on blood donation coordination with the Health Education and Research Organisation and as Project Director at BLOOD TRACK, enhancing community engagement and blood supply in Cameroon. Educational achievements include a Specialized Masters in Science in Transfusion and Transplantation Medicine and a Doctor of Medicine degree, both earned with honors.
