Emily Hyett possesses extensive experience in development and education sectors, currently serving as a Senior Development Officer at CAMFED since July 2021. Prior to this role, Emily worked as Programme Manager at Think Equal, overseeing global programs that deliver social and emotional learning to young children. Additional volunteer experiences include supporting Amnesty International UK’s Human Rights Education Unit and contributing to various charitable organizations, among others. Emily completed a Master of Arts in Education, Gender, and International Development at UCL Institute of Education and holds a Bachelor's degree in French and Hispanic Studies from The University of Sheffield. Previous positions include senior recruitment roles at KAPSARC and Saudi Aramco, showcasing a strong background in talent acquisition and organizational support.

CAMFED is a pan-African movement, revolutionizing how girls’ education is delivered. Through a gold-standard system of accountability to the young people and communities we serve, we have created a model that radically improves girls’ prospects of becoming independent, influential women. Our impact increases exponentially through the Association of young women educated with CAMFED’s support. Together, we multiply the number of girls in school, and accelerate their transition to secure livelihoods and leadership.
