Kenneth E. King

VP, Housing at CAMILLUS HOUSE INC

As vice president of housing, Kenneth King oversees Camillus’ housing program, which provides housing to more than 800 individuals and families in 12 facilities throughout Miami-Dade County.

Prior to joining Camillus House, Mr. King was a substance abuse counselor, relapse prevention coordinator and drug court liaison for Turning Point Bridge in Pompano Beach. Mr. King also is co-founder of T.H.U.G.S. Ministries, Inc. (True Heroes Under God’s Sovereignty), an inner-city youth project. T.H.U.G.S. is a non-profit organization that takes a holistic approach to crime and drug prevention with an emphasis on education and spirituality. As pastor/executive director of the organization, he currently is working closely with more than 30 youth, primarily of Haitian decent.

Mr. King completed his MBA at Carlos Albizu University. He has been a guest on Trinity Broadcasting Network’s “Joy InOur Town” and a participant in a three- member panel involved in the making of a theological video for Barry University. Mr. King has also been a guest lecturer at Nova Southeastern University’s Criminal Justice Gang Prevention Class.
