With over 20 years of experience in the behavioral health field, Amanda has worked with a wide variety of populations and settings: from young children with developmental delays to adolescents with trauma backgrounds to adults in crisis.
She has held various leadership roles for non-profit and for-profit organizations. As vice president for a large non-profit agency in California, Amanda oversaw such programs as adult and adolescent crisis residential facilities, Veterans programs, homeless and housing programs, outpatient alcohol and other drugs (AOD) and jail programs, intellectual disability residential and outpatient programs, and county and managed care mental health crisis stabilization programs.
Amanda has experience in program development and implementation, budget management, compliance, and clinical oversight and training. She has served on the board of a start-up program for foster care youth and has recently worked with the County of Marin in the emergency operation center as the care and shelter chief working with the social service response to COVID-19.
