Isabel Villela

Case Manager at La Alianza Hispana

Isabel moved from Guatemala to Boston in October 27, 1989. She began to work in the human services field since December 14. 1989. She worked as a group supervisor and quality assurance at a non-profit organization, at that time named Center House Inc. in 1998 she attended La Alianza Hispana (LAH) for an intensive course of computer classes, at the same time she was engaged in a volunteer program at LAH for eight months. In December 14, 1998 Isabel started working at LAH as a full-time employee at the Latino Counseling center (LFCC). She worked as an Intake coordinator and a case manager of a Parent Mentor Program and a facilitator of Art Therapy group for the elders at LAH. While working at the LFCC, Isabel Villela attended Cambridge College where she obtained her Bachelor Degree in Human Services (2010).
