Sarah Peters has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Sarah began their career as a Residential Counselor at Crossroads Treatment Center in 2016. Sarah then worked as a Site Coordinator at the City of Suisun City, where they oversaw staff members and children in an educational program. In 2017, Sarah became a Family Resource Specialist at the City of Benicia, supporting families in need. Sarah also served as a Program Director at Friends Outside, providing mental health services and case management to families of inmates. Since 2018, Sarah has been employed at Caminar, Inc., where they held multiple roles including Assistant Program Director Crisis Residential, Program Director Crisis Residential, Clinical Assessment Coordinator-CCM, and Forensic Mental Health Assistant Director. Currently, they are the Program Director for the Forensic Mental Health and Clinical Case Management Programs, where they oversee the delivery of services to individuals with a mental illness. Sarah has demonstrated their ability to effectively manage teams, work with stakeholders, and collaborate with medical professionals.

Sarah Peters has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from Mills College, which they obtained between 2013 and 2015. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling at Northcentral University from 2017 to 2020. Currently, Sarah is studying for a Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical and Forensic Psychology at The Chicago School, which they expect to complete by 2024. In 2020, they also became a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist through the Board Of Behavioral Sciences.
