David J. Nicola

David J. Nicola has extensive work experience in finance and agriculture-related industries. David J. is currently the Head of Operations & Finance at CamoAg, which offers a geospatial platform for agriculture companies. Prior to this, they founded and served as CEO of Blackdirt Farm Management, LLC, an agriculture investment and operations business. David J. also worked as Director of Investments at Armonia LLC, a family office investing in food, agriculture, and environment. Before that, David worked at BlueMountain Capital Management, where they were a Portfolio Manager and Credit Trader. David J. started their career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Citi, where they ranked in the top 10% of their class and led analysis on a $3 billion acquisition.

David J. Nicola earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources Management and Policy from Cornell University in 2002. More recently, they obtained their MBA degree from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business in 2013, with a focus on Energy & Environment as their field of study.
