Jessie Smith

Jessie Smith is an experienced professional in early childhood development, currently serving as a Classroom Assistant at United Cerebral Palsy since September 2013, where responsibilities include guiding children with disabilities, ensuring their health and safety, and fostering positive relationships. Additionally, Jessie has been a Grief Facilitator at New Hope for Kids since August 2013, providing bereavement support for children and families, and directing grief activities for ages 3 to 17. As a Bone Marrow Transplant Child Life Volunteer at Walt Disney Pavilion Florida Hospital for Children, Jessie assists families during hospital stays and supports Child Life Specialists. Jessie also has a history of working with children through roles at Camp Boggy Creek and the Early Learning Coalition of Orange County, and previously directed an organ donor awareness campaign as Get Carded Director at Volunteer UCF. Jessie holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Development from the University of Central Florida.
