We are a summer family who celebrates together and supports one another through it all. Camp Chen-A-Wanda is a warm embrace that will provide your child a summer of incredible adventures and experiences along with friendships that will last a lifetime. Camp Chen-A-Wanda was established in 1939 and has served thousands and thousands of campers over the past 75 plus years. Our camp population is made up of boys and girls ages 7 – 16 years old and come from several communities throughout New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Maryland, South Florida and even North Carolina and California. We are diverse and varied so you can’t coin Chenny as a camp that comes from one place. staff and camperWe have a staff of 300 exceptional people who dedicate their summers to providing the most incredible experiences to your children. We say that Life is Great at Camp Chen-A-Wanda and it truly is. It is a place where we unplug from a daily existence of technology that at times keeps us disconnected from one another to a summer full of face-to-face amazing relationships and adventures that surpass our dreams.
