Christopher Garza

Christopher Garza is an experienced nursing professional currently serving as a Registered Nurse for the Austin Independent School District and as a District Nurse for Judson ISD, where new protocols and policies were developed for the Health Services department alongside staff development trainings for nurses and health aides. Additional nursing roles include serving as a Pediatric Nurse at Camp Longhorn and T Bar M Camps & Retreats, overseeing the well-being of over 1,200 campers and staff combined. Earlier experience includes working as an Emergency Room Nurse at The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio, focusing on patient assessment and collaboration with medical teams. Christopher Garza holds a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from UT Health San Antonio and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Texas A&M University, and is pursuing a Master of Public Health at UTHealth School of Public Health.
