David Parnes

David Parnes has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. David started their career as a Structured Trade & Export Finance Analyst at Deutsche Bank from June 2009 to May 2011. Following that, they worked as the Director of Operations at bobble, a filtered water bottle company, from May 2011 to November 2013.

From November 2013 to March 2014, David served as an Operations Manager at PINCHme, a marketing platform for CPG manufacturers. David then joined Heartwork, INC. as the Director of Supply Chain Operations from March 2014 to November 2015, where they focused on growing the manufacturing base.

In January 2016, David became the Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer at OTHR, a 3D printing company aiming to make unique design more accessible. David held this position until November 2016.

Next, David worked as an Operations Consultant at Self from June 2014 to August 2019, supporting early-stage retail and consumer goods businesses in operations and supply chain. Some of their clients included Studs, Scroll Commerce, and Homesick Candles.

In February 2019, David joined BuzzFeed as the Chief of Staff, Marketing, where they built a multi-brand e-Commerce infrastructure and launched the Tasty Cookbook. David later became the Head of Operations and Finance, Commerce, before leaving the company in August 2019.

Currently, David is the Chief Operating Officer at CAMP, a national retail chain of "family experience" stores, where they lead a team responsible for managing various aspects of the business, including supply chain, store operations, customer service, and product development. David joined CAMP in March 2022, six months after the opening of their first store.

David Parnes holds a degree in Bachelor of Science in Management with a specialization in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Binghamton University School of Management. David also obtained a BA degree in Business Management with a focus on Corporate Strategy from the University of Westminster.
