CAMP4 is seeking a passionate and innovative scientist to support lead optimization and development candidate selection activities for oligonucleotide therapies designed to treat a range of genetically defined diseases, initially targeting those affecting the CNS and liver. Reporting to the Director of Preclinical Sciences, the individual will be broadly responsible for contributing to the execution of in vivo exploratory rodent pharmacokinetic and tolerability studies and the conduct of laboratory/bench assays associated with these studies. We seek an experienced individual with curiosity and an innovative spirit to contribute to our understanding of drug safety and exposure at CAMP4.

The Job Title will depend on the candidate's experience and skill set.

What you will do:

  • Document and conduct mouse tolerability and PK studies using multiple routes of administration.

  • Support proposal generation and contracting of studies performed at external vendors, as applicable.

  • Serve as thought leader on the conduct of in vivo studies.

  • Design and execute in vitro laboratory-based assays in support of assigned projects and/or studies

  • Responsible for analysis, interpretation and presentation of data to internal project teams

  • Work closely with individuals in the research and development team to ensure optimal program support and to foster collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • BS/MS in biology-related field

  • Strong background in rodent handling, dose administration (e.g., SC, IV, oral, IT) and data collection

  • Experience in conduct of in vitro laboratory assays (e.g. ELISA, tissue homogenization and analysis, RNA isolation, PCR)

  • Strong preference for prior experience supporting oligonucleotide DMPK and safety activities

  • 5+ years experience working in biotech or pharma
