Rebecca Hill is an experienced professional in science communication and policy, currently serving as the Advocacy and Engagement Manager at the Campaign for Science and Engineering since April 2022, after holding the role of Advocacy and Engagement Officer. Prior to this, Rebecca worked as a Policy Advisor at Cancer Research UK from March 2021 to April 2022, focusing on health data and early detection research. Previous roles include Policy Manager at Full Fact, where efforts centered on improving the use of statistics and data in public discourse, and various editorial and reporting positions at publications such as The Register, Research Fortnight, and PublicTechnology. Rebecca’s freelance work spans prominent outlets like Nature and New Scientist, and educational credentials include a PhD in Molecular Biology and an MA in Science Journalism from City, University of London.
