Michael Fisches has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Michael started their career at LANXESS as a Laboratory Chemist intern in 2005. In 2007, they interned at BASF, focusing on Polymer Science and Processing Technology. From 2008 to 2009, Fisches worked as a Simulation Engineer at Plastics Engineering Group GmbH. Michael then joined Continental in 2010 and completed their Bachelor Thesis on Plastic Processing Technology. In the same year, they started working at the Institute for Plastics Engineering as a Project Engineer, specializing in Polymer Materials Research. Fisches continued their education with a Master's degree at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where they conducted their thesis on developing a multivariate sensor for injection molding. In 2013, they joined Pepperl+Fuchs Asia Pte. Ltd. as a Project Engineer and later became the Project Lead for SEA - Process Development. In 2017, Fisches began their career with Campana & Schott as a Consultant and progressed to the roles of Senior Consultant, Managing Consultant, and currently holds the position of Manager/Project Executive.
Michael Fisches has a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Polymer/Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, which they obtained from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Plastics and Polymer Engineering Technology from the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt, where they studied from 2007 to 2013. In addition to their educational background, Michael has obtained certifications in various areas, including being a Certified Change Practitioner from Prosci, a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum.org, a Professional Scrum Master from Scrum.org, and a Project Management Professional (PMP®) from the Project Management Institute.
