Marco Loru

Marco Loru has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Marco has held various roles in different companies, showcasing their expertise in supply chain management, operations, planning, and project management.

In their current role as the Senior Director of Supply Chain France at Campari Group, Marco oversees the supply chain operations and ensures efficient distribution and delivery processes.

Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Demand Planning EMEA at Campari Group, where they were responsible for forecasting demand and optimizing inventory levels across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Before joining Campari Group, Marco served as the Operations Director at Art cosmetics Srl, where they successfully managed the company's operations.

Marco also worked at Safilo as the Global Supply Network Planning Director, where they played a key role in optimizing the supply chain network and enhancing the company's efficiency.

In their earlier years, Marco worked at The Kraft Heinz Company, holding multiple positions such as Manufacturing Director, S&OP Leader, and Demand & Initiatives Planning Manager. In these roles, they focused on improving manufacturing processes, coordinating demand planning activities, and managing strategic projects.

Marco began their career at Heinz - Plasmon, where they served as the Customer Service and Sales Operation Manager and later as the Business & IT Project Manager.

Throughout their career, Marco has demonstrated their ability to lead cross-functional teams, optimize processes, and deliver results in fast-paced environments. Marco'sextensive experience in supply chain management and planning makes him a valuable asset in any organization.

Marco Loru attended Politecnico di Milano from 1987 to 1995. Marco also pursued a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification at the Six Sigma Academy in 2007.
