Ruben Torres Soto

Ruben Torres Soto's work experience includes roles at Campari Group, Ferrero, Mars, and Kellogg Company. Ruben currently holds the position of Customer Service & Logistics LEAD at Campari Group, starting in 2023. Previously, at Ferrero, they served as the Gerente nacional Route to Market and later as the Sub director Supply Chain | Customer Service | CPFR | México y Centro América. In these roles, they were responsible for designing, planning, executing, and optimizing the logistics network, ensuring high levels of service and customer experience, and collaborating with a global team on transportation and storage strategies. Prior to Ferrero, Ruben held various positions at Mars, including Gerente regional de Almacenaje y Distribución, Planeador de cadena de suministro, S&OP Planeador de la demanda, Jefe de ingeniería de rutas Route to Market, and Especialista Supply Chain. Ruben also worked as an Especialista en logística at Kellogg Company.

Ruben Torres Soto earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Strategic Planning from EGADE Business School del Tecnológico de Monterrey from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering with a minor in Systems Engineering and Lean Manufacturing from Tecnológico de Monterrey from 2004 to 2009. In 2008, they briefly attended HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management. In terms of certifications, Ruben obtained a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification from LEAN SIX SIGMA INTERNATIONAL in 2020, a CPIM - Basics of Supply Chain Management Certification from APICS in 2017, and a Lean Manufacturing Certification from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2009. Ruben also completed the Leadership: Foundational Principles course offered by HarvardX in 2022.
