Chris Ikpeme has a diverse range of work experience spanning over three decades. Chris began their career as a Management Accountant at ICI Fibres in 1991. Chris then joined DuPont in 1993, where they held various roles including Financial Controller and UK Accounting Manager. During their time at DuPont, they also led the financial systems development for SAP and managed a team of 10 direct reports. Chris then joined Koch Industries in 2004 as the Global Finance Manager for the Invista Apparel, Specialty Products business unit. Chris oversaw all finance functions, including international joint ventures and brand licensing agreements. In 2007, Chris moved to TE Connectivity, where they held dual roles as Financial Controller (EMEA) and Head of UK Finance. Chris managed a team of 15 financial reporting personnel across 4 countries and served as a member of the UK senior management team. Chris then joined AXA Technology Services in 2009 as the Head of Management Accounting (Mid Europe Region), leading the financial planning, analysis, and reporting for a Technology Services business unit with an annual turnover of £150m. Chris assembled and led a team of 7 accountants in the UK and Switzerland. Prior to their current role, Chris worked at United Internet AG from 2010 to 2019, where they held multiple senior finance positions, including Head of UK Finance and Finance Director. In these roles, Chris provided financial guidance, enhanced profitability through robust control procedures, and led strategic business reviews and analyses. Currently, Chris is employed as the Finance Director at Campden BRI.
Chris Ikpeme holds a degree in Accounting and Finance from the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). Chris also completed 4 A Levels at Harrogate High School and pursued Accountancy Professional Examinations at The University of Huddersfield. Additionally, they have obtained certifications as a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and as a Six Sigma Greenbelt.
