Jim Nelson

Jim Nelson is an experienced professional in the automotive and technology sectors, currently serving as the Director of IT Dealer Operations at Camping World since August 2022. Prior to this role, Jim held various leadership positions, including Vice President of Operations at DealerBuilt, and Product Director of Partnerships at VinSolutions, where responsibilities included executing strategic partnerships and overseeing CRM product development. Jim's extensive background includes significant contributions to VinSolutions’ growth, including leading the development of key product offerings and managing operations during a period of acquisition-related transitions. Earlier experience includes management roles at Finance Express, Regent Product Marketing, and Scholfield Automotive Group, following military service as a Computer Communication Specialist in the United States Air Force. Jim is an alumnus of Iowa State University.
