Elliot Himmelfarb

Elliot Himmelfarb has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2012, they started their career as a Personal Assistant/Researcher at The Carter Place Eldercare Facility where they worked until 2014. From 2014 to 2015, Elliot worked as an ESL Teacher Abroad at Ewha Little Campus School, and from 2015 to 2016, they worked in a similar role at MapleBear Canadian Immersion School in Seoul, Korea. In 2016, Elliot became a Full-Stack Javascript Mentor at Coding House for a brief period of three months. The following year, they joined The Cadmus Group as a Junior Application Developer and later transitioned to the role of Full-Stack Application Developer from 2018 to 2018.

Elliot's most recent work experience includes being a Bootcamp Student Mentor at CareerFoundry since November 2022. In this role, they mentor and guides students in their career change into the software engineering field, providing support, reviewing assignments, and conducting one-on-one meetings. Currently, Elliot is also employed as a Software Engineer at CampMinder since December 2018.

Elliot Himmelfarb's education history begins at the Pasadena Waldorf School, where they completed their Elementary and Middle School education from 1997 to 2005, focusing on Waldorf/Steiner Education. Later, they attended the University of Oregon from 2009 to 2013, acquiring a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Cultural and Archaeological Anthropology, with a sub-focus in Religious Studies. In 2015, Elliot received a Full Stack Web Development Certification from Free Code Camp, specializing in Computer Software Engineering. They furthered their web development skills by attending Coding House in 2016, completing a Full Stack JavaScript Developer program through a full immersion web development bootcamp. Seeking expertise in SCRUM/AGILE methodologies, Elliot obtained a SCRUM Master Certification from Agile for All in 2017. Most recently, in 2023, Elliot participated in the Plutus Pioneer Program, pursuing a Full-Stack Cardano Developer degree in Web3 Development.
