Avril Northridge

Avril Northridge has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Avril started their career in 1987 as a Key Account Manager at ITT Sheraton and later worked as a National Prestige Accounts Manager at Diageo. In 1993, they joined IHG - InterContinental Hotels Group as a Business Development Manager, where they remained until 2000. Avril then moved on to Mirvac Hotels and Resorts as a Regional Sales and Marketing Manager, where they significantly transformed sales structures and strategies. From 2004 to 2005, Avril served as a Regional Manager at Fine Wine Partners, focusing on premium wine and spirit sales. Their career took their to Marriott International, where they held various roles, including Regional Director of Global Sales for Australia and New Zealand. Avril's most recent position is as the Head of Sales Australia and New Zealand at Campus Living Villages, a role they started in December 2020. Throughout their career, they demonstrated strong leadership skills and an ability to drive sales growth.

Avril Northridge studied at Technological University in Dublin, Ireland from 1977 to 1981. Avril earned a National Diploma in Hotel Management and a National Diploma in Business Studies, with a focus on Hotel Administration and Management.

In addition to their formal education, Avril Northridge has obtained several certifications. In August 2019, they completed the LEADERSHIP ACCELERATOR BASE CAMP program at the Johnson & Johnson Human Performance Institute and the Business Acumen/Building Enterprise Leaders program at the CEB/Gartner Enterprise Leadership Academy, both offered by Marriott International. Furthermore, in March 2015, they obtained an Interview Certification Course through the STARs program, also provided by Marriott International.
