Clair Hodge is currently the Group General Counsel at Campus Living Villages Pty Limited. Prior to this, they were Transport for NSW's Group General Counsel from June 2015 to February 2020. In this role, they were responsible for the Legal Services Group at TfNSW, which managed legal risk across all of Transport for NSW's activities. This included procurements for major infrastructure, rolling stock, digital services, and contracting out public transport services such as ferries, buses, and ticketing services. The team was also responsible for providing advice and training on privacy matters to ensure compliance with privacy legislation as well as the public's access to government information.
Before their role at Transport for NSW, Clair was the VP of Legal, Contracts & Insurance at Abu Dhabi Airports Company from February 2009 to March 2011. As ADAC's first General Counsel, they established the company's first in-house legal function, as well as responsibility for the contracts and insurance functions. Clair has also served as the General Counsel for both the New South Wales Police Force from April 2011 to June 2015 and Sydney Airport Corporation Limited from January 2002 to December 2009.
Clair Hodge is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, the University of New South Wales, and the Australia and New Zealand School of Government. Clair also holds a Graduate Diploma in Corporate Governance from the Governance Institute of Australia.
