Blake Haase is an experienced legal and compliance professional with over ten years of government contracting, commercial, and corporate legal experience. In addition to performing the corporate legal functions of the company, Mr. Haase also works closely with programmatic and operational teams to continually improve key compliance and operational systems, risk mitigation strategies, and core processes within CAMRIS. In this role, he mentors, advises, and provides training to employees and other stakeholders on best practices to minimize risk, resolve contracting issues, ensure regulatory and legal compliance, and navigate complex ethical issues
Mr. Haase presently serves as CAMRIS’ Lead Technical Director under GHSI-III, a $250 Million contract furnishing technical advisory and administrative services to USAID’s Bureau for Global Health. In addition to his activities under GHSI-III, Mr. Haase supports the implementation of CAMRIS programs both domestically and overseas, with direct support in Nepal, Mali, Peru, Egypt, and Djibouti. Mr. Haase draws from his broad experience supporting multiple domestic and international efforts for such customers as the US Agency for International Development, Department of Defense, National Institutes of Health, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. He has successfully managed programs to develop practical, scalable, and sustainable business practices that ensure programmatic compliance and customer satisfaction.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Haase served as in-house corporate counsel for government contractor and biotechnology licensing organizations. In those roles, he gained extensive experience implementing federal grants and contracts, data analysis, international business operations, and complex systems design and implementation. Mr. Haase earned his JD from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami Gardens, Florida, and his BA from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida.
