Alina Gilmore's work experience begins in 2000 when they started working at Flextronics as a Human Resources Representative. Alina later became a Human Resources Controller at the same company and held this position until 2006. In 2006, they briefly worked as a Project Manager at Sauter-Kilpatrick Executive Search. From 2007 to 2008, they worked at Mercer University as an HR Project Support. In 2008, they joined Future Search LLC as a Contract Sourcer/Recruiter. Alina then worked at ClearPoint Credit Counseling Solutions as an HR Generalist from 2008 to 2011, and later as an HR Business Partner from 2011 to 2015. In 2016, Alina worked as a Self-employed HR Consultant for a brief period before joining CAN Capital as a Director, HR Business Partner. At CAN Capital, they supported different client groups and focused on organizational development programs and HR initiatives. In 2017, they were promoted to the position of VP of Human Resources and served as a strategic partner to the Executive Team, overseeing company plans, programs, and resources. Alina successfully increased employee engagement and retention during a period of significant change and uncertainty.
Alina Gilmore obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Political Sciences from Universitatea "Babeș-Bolyai" din Cluj-Napoca, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include the Agile HR Certified Practitioner from the Agile HR Community in October 2021, the DiSC Facilitator certification from IMPACT Training & Development in June 2019, the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in January 2008, the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM in May 2015, the Strategic Workforce Planning certification from the Human Capital Institute (HCI) in June 2015, and the Strategic HR Business Partner certification from the Human Capital Institute (HCI) in June 2014.
