Brent Ahrens

Brent Ahrens is a General Partner at Canaan Partners, a position held since June 1999. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Business Development and Marketing at GSI from July 1997 to June 1999, and engineering roles at Johnson & Johnson from June 1991 to September 1995, and at IAP Research from August 1986 to May 1991. Brent Ahrens obtained a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Private Equity from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth (1995-1997), as well as a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton, completed in 1986 and 1985, respectively.
