Matthew Parrenas

Matthew Parrenas has a diverse work experience. Matthew started their career as a Banquet Server at The Arbutus Club in 2017 and held this role until 2020. Matthew then joined Aritzia as a Risk Associate from August 2020 to March 2021. After that, Matthew worked at The Arbutus Club again, this time as a Restaurant Server from March 2021 to May 2021. Currently, they are employed at Canaccord Genuity Group Inc. where they started as an Associate in Mutual Funds & GICs in May 2021 and is currently working as a Specialist in Portfolio Operations.

Matthew Parrenas completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from BCIT School of Business + Media from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma of Education in Financial Planning and Services from the same institution between 2019 and 2021. Before attending BCIT, Matthew pursued Pre-Nursing Studies at Langara College from 2017 to 2019. Matthew obtained their High School Diploma from Saint Patrick Regional Secondary School from 2012 to 2017. In terms of additional certifications, Matthew obtained the Canadian Securities Course (CSC®) from the Canadian Securities Institute in March 2021.
