Rose Lo

Rose Lo has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Rose is currently the Head of Total Rewards at Canaccord Genuity Group Inc. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Human Resources at conversationHEALTH, where they revamped HR strategies and provided executive-level leadership across multiple regions. Rose also worked at Kyndryl, an IBM spinoff, where they designed global job architecture and banding frameworks.

Before that, Rose spent several years at IBM, where they were responsible for executive compensation strategy and design. Rose also worked as the HR and ADM Director at OBI Pharma, Inc., managing company growth initiatives and global alignment.

Earlier in their career, Rose worked at Novartis as an HR Consultant, Spirox Corporation as the Global HR Manager, Mercer Human Resource Consulting as a Senior Consultant, Watson Wyatt Worldwide as a Consultant, and the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board as an Actuarial Analyst.

Throughout their career, Rose has demonstrated expertise in various HR areas such as talent management, compensation, strategic planning, and global alignment. Rose has a strong track record of implementing effective HR strategies and policies to drive business objectives and promote a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.

Rose Lo completed an MBA degree with a focus in Corporate Strategy and HRM & OB from De Montfort University, from 2000 to 2001. Prior to that, they obtained a BSc degree from Queen's University, majoring in Pure Mathematics and minoring in Economics, from 1996 to 1999.

In addition to their formal education, Rose Lo has obtained multiple certifications. These include the IBM Virtual Collaborator certification from IBM in December 2020, the Be Equal Ambassador certification from IBM in July 2020, the IBM Automation Essentials certification from IBM in May 2020, and the Certified Human Resources Executive (CHRE) certification from HRPA - Human Resources Professionals Association in April 2020.

Furthermore, Rose Lo has completed the People Analytics - Essentials certification from IBM in November 2019, the Disruptive HR in a Cognitive Era - Essentials certification from IBM in December 2018, the IBM Digital Learning Transformation certification from IBM in November 2018, the IBM Volunteers - Bronze certification from IBM in November 2018, and the Human Resources in a Cognitive Era - Solutions certification from IBM in September 2018.

Lastly, Rose Lo holds a Certified Canadian Radio Broadcaster certification from Industry Canada and CRTC, although the month and year of obtaining this certification are unspecified.
