Daisy Yanzhen Chen

Daisy Yanzhen Chen is an accomplished professional with diverse experience in sustainable energy and project management. Presently serving as a BC Investment Team Trainee at Front Row Ventures, Daisy contributes to Canada's leading student-operated VC firm focused on early-stage investments. As the Founder and Project Manager of GreenLink Smart Cities Conferences since January 2021, Daisy leads initiatives within the Leadership Fellowship program of Student Energy Global Chapter. Additionally, Daisy holds a membership as an Emerging Green Professional with the Canada Green Building Council, emphasizing a commitment to the green building industry. Previous roles include internships in ESG and sustainability at Dream Unlimited and Yencell (Xiamen) Bio-Med Regeneration Co., research assistant positions at Simon Fraser University's Computational Sustainability Lab, and leadership as the President & Founder of the SFU Co-op Student Hub. Daisy's educational background includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in Sustainable Energy Engineering and a Business Minor from Simon Fraser University.
