Rana A. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology, innovation, and payments strategy. Currently serving as Director of Technology, Innovation & Infrastructure Strategy and Business Enablement at CIBC since June 2018, Rana A. focuses on emerging technologies such as Digital Identity, Open Banking, Next-Gen Payments, Quantum Computing, and Generative AI. Additional roles at CIBC include Director of Innovation Strategy and Emerging Technologies, and Director of Payments Strategy, Products, and Innovation. As a Founding Member of the Canada India Tech Council since September 2023, Rana A. promotes collaboration and resource sharing among over 300 tech leaders in Canada. Previous experience includes leadership positions at Mastercard, Deloitte, BDO Canada, EY, McKinsey & Company, and Procter & Gamble.
