Greg Chung, FSA, FCIA

Greg Chung, FSA, FCIA has a diverse work experience in the actuarial field. Greg is currently employed at Canada Life Reinsurance as a Manager of Financial Management since February 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as an Actuarial Associate in Financial Management at the same company from September 2020 to February 2022.

Before joining Canada Life Reinsurance, Greg worked at Canada Life as an Actuarial Associate in Enterprise Risk Management from September 2018 to September 2020. Greg also gained valuable experience at Empire Life, where they worked as an Actuarial Analyst in Corporate Actuarial from July 2015 to August 2018.

In addition to their professional experience, Greg has a teaching background. Greg worked as a Course Instructor at Queen's University in January 2018 for five months.

Greg began their career in the actuarial field as an Actuarial Summer Student at Empire Life for three months in 2014.

Through their various roles, Greg has developed strong analytical and financial management skills, making him a valuable asset in the actuarial industry.

Greg Chung, FSA, FCIA has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Mathematics from Queen's University, which they completed between 2011 and 2015. Prior to that, they attended Ashbury College from 2008 to 2011, where they completed their High School education and obtained an IB Bilingual Diploma. In addition to their educational background, Greg has achieved two significant certifications in the field of actuarial science. Greg became a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) in July 2021 and a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA) in December 2021.
