Stephen Low

Residence Coordinator at Canada's National Ballet School

Stephen Low is an experienced operations and project manager currently serving as the Manager of Operations and Project Manager at Rainbow Faith and Freedom since October 2020. Concurrently, Stephen has worked as an Independent Researcher and Writer since September 2009, completing a dissertation and numerous research projects. Stephen has held various roles at Canada’s National Ballet School since July 2007, including Residence Coordinator and Residence Shift Leader, focusing on student wellbeing and leadership. As a Freelance Writer since July 2019, Stephen contributes articles and conducts interviews within the contemporary performance industry. Stephen has also instructed courses at several universities, including Trent University, Brock University, and Cornell University, primarily on gender, sexuality, and social justice. Academically, Stephen holds a PhD in Performing and Media Arts from Cornell University, a Master’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Toronto.
