Marc Blanchard

Marc Blanchard has a strong background in operations and management. Marc has worked at CAPREIT since 2016, starting as an Executive Assistant to the COO before progressing to Manager, Operations, Senior Manager, Operations, and eventually Associate Director of Operations. In these roles, Marc was responsible for managing a portfolio of properties in Central Toronto, overseeing a team of staff, managing budgets, reviewing maintenance work, and identifying and addressing potential safety concerns. Prior to CAPREIT, Marc worked at Paramount Properties Management as an Executive Assistant & Property Manager, where they provided administrative and property management support. Marc also worked at Zumiez as an Assistant Manager, where they managed a new store opening and trained new hires. Additionally, Marc worked at Knewsales Group as a Recruitment Coordinator and at Boathouse/Stance Stores as a Key Holder & Sales Associate.

Marc Blanchard completed their Honours BA in Communication and Criminology at the University of Ottawa from 2008 to 2012. Marc then pursued a Human Resources Management Post-Graduate Certificate at George Brown College from 2013 to 2014. Prior to their university education, Marc attended St. Peter's Secondary School from 2004 to 2008.
