Claudette Fedoruk, MSc(A) CRSP

Claudette Fedoruk, MSc(A) CRSP has a strong background in policy analysis and implementation, particularly in the field of safe operations within the petroleum industry. Claudette has held the role of Policy Analyst, Operations at the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) since 2010. In this position, Claudette leads the implementation of CAPP's Safe Operations Strategy of Enabling Zero, focusing on preventing high consequence events and creating a consistent regulatory environment through data-driven decision-making. Claudette effectively represents members' interests and confidently acts on matters of regulation, policy, position, and proposal.

Prior to their work at CAPP, Claudette worked as an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist at the University of Calgary from 2000 to 2009. In this role, they developed and managed core programs in occupational health and hygiene, with a focus on asbestos management, indoor environmental quality, respiratory protection, and hearing conservation. Claudette also conducted and reported on hazardous materials assessments and abatement projects, including asbestos, lead, mold, and PCBs.

Claudette Fedoruk, MSc(A) CRSP, has a strong education background in the field of occupational health and safety. Claudette obtained their M.Sc. (A) in Occupational Health from McGill University, where they studied from 2006 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed a Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety from the University of Alberta, attending from 2004 to 2008. Claudette also holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the University of Calgary, which they earned from 1995 to 2000.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Claudette has obtained several certifications. Claudette has completed the Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) certification from the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals in June 2006. Recently, they completed the McGill Personal Finance Fundamentals certification from McGill University in March 2021.
