Vice President, Tolls & Tariffs at Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP)

Greig Sproule has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Greig is currently the Vice President of Tolls & Tariffs at the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP), a position they have held since November 2020. Prior to that, from June 2019 to November 2020, they served as a Senior Advisor in Natural Gas Markets & Transportation at CAPP.

Before joining CAPP, Greig owned and operated Sproule Management Consulting Ltd. since January 2000. From May 2006 to July 2014, Greig also served as the Executive Director of the Industrial Gas Consumers Association of Alberta (IGCAA), where they provided consulting services and played a senior leadership role in the Canadian Natural Gas industry.

Earlier in their career, Greig worked as the Director of Market Acceptance at TransCanada from 1998 to 2000 and as the Manager of Collaborative Process at NGTL from 1994 to 1998.

Throughout their career, Greig has demonstrated their expertise in various areas such as leadership, relationship building, creative problem solving, and strategic planning.

Greig Sproule's education history is as follows:

Greig Sproule obtained a B.Comm. degree in Accounting from the University of Calgary, attending from 1978 to 1982. Later, from 1986 to 1992, Greig pursued and completed an MBA degree in Finance from the same institution.

In addition to their business education, Greig Sproule has expanded their knowledge in other fields. In 2016, they completed the Canadian Wine Scholar program at Fine Vintage Ltd. Furthermore, they also accomplished the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines and Spirits from the same institution.

Most recently, in 2019, Greig Sproule attended the Institute of Corporate Directors and completed the NFP Governance Essentials Program, focusing on Governance studies.
