Tara P. has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Tara started their career as an Environmental Scientist at Wardrop Engineering Inc. in 1999 and later moved to KGS Group in 2001 in the same role. In 2002, they joined the National Capital Commission as an Environmental Officer and eventually served as the Acting Senior Environmental Officer until 2005.

Tara then transitioned to the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) in 2005 and held various positions within the organization. Tara started as a Policy Analyst and later became the Manager of Water Policy, where they served for eight years. In 2019, they took on the role of Manager of Water, Health & Safety before being promoted to their current position as Manager of Alberta Operations in May 2020.

Tara P. completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from the University of Manitoba between 1995 and 1999. Then, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Environment and Management from Royal Roads University, which they completed between 2008 and 2010.
