Ali Ahmed

Associate Director, Strategic Financial Management at Canadian Blood Services

Ali Ahmed has extensive work experience in financial management and accounting. Ali started their career at KPMG as a Staff Accountant from 2006 to 2008. Ali then worked as an IFRS Consultant at the Royal Canadian Mint for three months in 2009, followed by being an IFRS Implementation Specialist at Telesat Canada from 2009 to 2011. Ali then joined MD Financial Management as a Senior Financial Analyst from 2011 to 2013, where they led the implementation of IFRS and later transitioned into financial planning. From 2013 to 2017, they worked at Canadian Blood Services as a Senior Financial Accountant, where they managed financial planning, analysis, and strategic projects.
